² “Speak to the children of Israel saying to them: When you come into the land that I am giving you, the land is to keep a Sabbath to the Lord. ³ You shall sow the fields for six years and you shall prune the vineyard and harvest its fruit for six years, ⁴ but the seventh year will be a Sabbath of rest to the Lord. It is a Sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.
